An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Cassandra George Wed May 13, 2015 9:25 am

As the slow trickle of customers grew to an almost steady stream, Cassie continued to work the cash register, taking orders as skillfully as she had been since the beginning.  It was easy, really, unless one came across a picky or impatient customer.  In those cases even she struggled with retaining a polite smile, and at times she almost purposefully tampered with drinks before realizing it would be a terrible idea.  But she enjoyed working at Jitters, especially when she got to talk with the regular customers.  She had yet to make any close friends, but at least she had a few acquaintances.

Taking order after order, she couldn't help but notice the variety of customers she served, and tried to guess as to what their lives were like.  There was a businesswoman on a phone who ordered a plain black coffee, who lacked a smile and seemed preoccupied; she was probably having trouble with work.  There was also a young boy with his father, both enjoying their day so far, who attempted to order a coffee but received a cookie for later instead; perhaps they were taking a day for themselves and leaving mom to rest at home.  Cassie would never know for sure, but guessing was still fun, and as the time continued the morning rush calmed, ending up with the occasional customer entering.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Sithis was in central city. He had parked his car. He had been wearing, black leather jacket, black pants, black socks, black boots, black boxers, black t-shirt, a wallet with cash, ID, Drivers License, his cell, and keys to the car. After exiting the car he closed the door and locked the car. And went on for a stroll on this street. It was a beautiful day in Central City. With an amazing view. Towering over the building that were bestowed upon his eyes as he walked the City Streets. He walked around as his eyes widen at the lovely view."I must say. Central City is much more amazing then, Starling City. These building are just the most exquisite structure I've ever seen in my life. That has been in a city." Sithis said this under his breath. For only his ears to hear.

His eyes narrowing as he did this he entered a little shop. This shop was lovely inside. He heard it served the best coffee. In town. He was a tea man. But Coffee will do for today. SO he wouldn't mind. Though, he wanted to be surprised and shocked by how good this coffee was really. So He would decide for the person to make it for him. As he approached the desk. "Give me something that will blow my mind. Give me Coffee, a cookie, and tea if you don't mind?" he asked her. He spoke in the sweetish tone he could possible muster out of his mouth. Before given her a warm gentle smile her way.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

The bell on the door jingled, and Cassie prepared to take another order as she glanced at the man who had entered.  Strangely, he was dressed entirely in black, but he wasn't rough like the type that rode motorcycles and cat-called girls.  Instead, he seemed more clean cut, so she decided to wait before judging him.  She watched him look around a bit before he ordered, and she couldn't help but smile to herself.  He was not someone she recognized, so he had not been to Jitters in a long time, if at all, and perhaps he was even new to Central.  With that thought came the wondering of where he was from, what his job was, and she barely collected herself before he began to order.

As he spoke she nodded along, waiting until he was done to clarify his order. "Any specific kind of coffee, tea, or cookie?" She smiled in return, ready to input the requests into the register and prepare to make his items. "Or would you like a surprise?" If he chose that she would most likely choose Jitters' signature drink and cookie, which she knew all of their customers loved.  It would be the easy way to go, and it would be good for the clients as well because they were delicious.  She brushed a strand of her turquoise hair out of her face, not wanting it to get in the way, and considered pinning it back for the rest of the day.  Having blue hair made her wonder even more what people thought of her, though she was never quite worried about it, simply curious.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Sithis Nonomyth Wed May 13, 2015 11:25 am

Sithis looked at her eye up and down and as he did this. He would then shake his head and sigh. As his eyes made it's way towards her hair."You stand out quite pretty well in the crowd. That's great. You look good in blue. The Hair duo that is. Where do you buy ya hair product if you don't mind me asking." He asked her in a wondrous tone. Sithis liked different types of hair. It brought amazing texture and sight to it. It made people stand out and look great. The woman was very delightful and looked very good. His eyes narrowing as she spoke. He usually narrowed his eyes as his personal quirk. It was very good to be quite honest the sight of looking at people hair. Well only if they were different colored that is, in hair style and color sense of course. Sithis preferred purple however over blue..

"Go wild on me, Ya. Like chippin me rickets." he chuckled. He shook his head as Sithis let loose his thick attractive Russian accent into the air from out of it's Blossom that boon like a Holy Affinity. His eyes leering at that hair and then at hers. Before shaking his head."Well, surprise me please. I would like to try something new. And It's always good when someone decides to surprise you when ya attempting something new. Or trying something new. Thanks, by the way. Give me the best special this place ought to have, Ya know?" he cooed softly in a seductive manner.

Narrowing his eyes as he observed the different cookies. "Say, give me four cookies please. If ya don't mind. Of different flavors and such of course. Sorry if I seem like an Odd ball. I just like food generally a lot." he sure didn't look like a fat man who craved food. That's mostly because he worked out a lot mostly because he took care of his figure and because he had other reasons why he didn't get fat. But cookies would be a nice treat to eat. Right about now.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Cassandra George Wed May 13, 2015 12:13 pm

Cassie found it impossible to ignore how he looked her over, and was not certain how to react until he spoke.  Her hair?  She was not entirely surprised at his interest, considering the way she had colored it. "Oh, thank you," she smiled, glancing down almost bashfully, "though I'm actually considering changing it again." She was almost getting tired of the blue, wanting it to be a more reddish color, but she had not yet decided on anything specific.  If she really wanted to dye it some other way then perhaps a different style would also be nice. "I get the dye from this little salon on the other side of the city, but other than that and a blow-dry it's completely natural." She took some pride in how her hair required little effort for it to look decent.

His accent was not something she could immediately place, and combined with his speech patterns it was almost dizzying, so she concentrated on the basic message instead of his mannerisms.  So he was the type who enjoyed surprises, huh?  Perhaps he was one to enjoy a relaxed life and going with the flow of it, unlike a lot of other customers Cassie had observed. "Well I'll let you in on a little secret," she leaned toward him slightly, almost flirtatiously, "my surprises are only the best." She grinned and started deciding on what to give him.

At his next request she was slightly surprised, but made no big deal out of it.  A customer could buy anything as long as they could pay for it, even four cookies, and countless people enjoyed food. "Well everyone's a bit different in their own ways; four cookies it is." As she went on gathering his items she thought of a question. "I haven't seen you around, are you new to Central?" It was somewhat of a big jump, but Jitters was a relatively popular place, plus she did not recognize him anyway.  She filled a mug full of coffee and put some tea on, before grabbing four cookies from their container.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Sithis Nonomyth Wed May 13, 2015 12:40 pm

Sithis smiled as his gazed leered into her tiny frame and body. She was cute. Awfully cute. His gaze turned to her hair. The Blue was beautiful though purple would still be nice. He looked at her and took out his wallet. He pulled out a hundred bill. It was enough for the entire thing. Plus a handsome tip for her. "Keep the rest of the money. As a tip. I am sure I would be coming here for a long time. Mostly because I will enjoy the joy of seeing that colorful hair, and a lovely gal like ya self." he chuckled as he mused away. His eyes narrowing as he met his gaze of her eyes." If you want me to tell ya the truth. Keep em colors. Blue looks amazing on ya." He chuckled. He shook his head. Before tipping his fingers against her the counter table."Ya, know. If any one told ya otherwise, I would slap em. Make that slap count." he chuckled. As he teased and and joked with her.

His eyes looked at her chest when she moved leaned towards him, and he chuckled his gaze meeting her eyes again."I'm sold. This place has the most legendary Staff. I have the respect for ya. You have earned a regular customer just now. Hehehe." he chuckled. He smiled her way. "Is that so. Then you must show me!" he winked at her. As flirted back with her. Oh this was excellent. She was certainly a treat. He was glad to meet her here.

His eyes meeting the cookies."Ya know. Thanks you very much for the cookies." he gave her a smile warm smile her way. As he did this he would nod his head and smile her way.

"I am new. I am ya know. New to this place; central that is. Central seems nice. So it was nice to come here once and in a while. To check what's up ya know. Check what this city is doing. I am From Russia, Moved to Starling lived their for Six months. Or some sort. I can't really remember ya know. If ya know what I mean. Watcha bout ya self." he chuckled as he looked at her and smiled.

She was really amazing to be quite honest she was just the best of the best. The most amazing scarlet he might have gained a new friend probably. Friends were nice to have. They had your back when you needed them the most and you had theirs.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Cassandra George Wed May 13, 2015 1:25 pm

If she were to be honest, Cassie would have to admit to almost accepting the money despite its size.  Who wouldn't?  However, her common sense kicked in before she blindly accepted it. "I really shouldn't, though." She imagined that he would insist, but it was common courtesy to refuse something of that size. "And I'd really never get rid of the color altogether, just change it from time to time.  I should probably grow it out some, too, for more possibilities." She smiled, glancing down and to the side in a bashful manner before turning her eyes back to him.  It was interesting how easily they were able to flirt considering they had just met.  Smacking someone just because they disliked her hair was a bit to extreme for her choice, and it made her wonder what his life was like.  If that were to ever occur she would most likely just smile stiffly and exit the conversation while vowing to never speak to that person again.  Plus, if she smacked anyone when she was not paying attention there was the possibility of her breaking their jaw, and nothing would end well if that happened.  Was his life full of that kind of violence, and if so, who on earth was he?

Her manager was lucky to have Cassie around, since her exchanges with the customers continued to bring in regulars as long as they knew she was there.  She almost always wore a smile, which attracted people like fish to bread crumbs. "One of these days I'll make sure to," she promised, noting the possible hidden meanings of their conversation.  She had not missed his straying gaze nor the obvious wink, and while she enjoyed flirting most of the time, sometimes it could quickly become uncomfortable.  Her mind wandered to where the conversation could lead, but before she got lost she concentrated on the moment.

"You're very welcome." She smiled in return, listening to the words that followed.  So he was Russian, that was why she could not quite place his accent before; she was unfamiliar with it.  It hardly surprised her that he wished to know about her in return, so she complied. "Oh, me?  I just came here for college," she raised a shoulder in a half-shrug, "but then I dropped out.  Of course I could never just leave Central, so I decided to stay, and here I am." The short truth was best, since trying to weave lies would never work out, but she left out the details of her life before moving to Central City.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Sithis Nonomyth Wed May 13, 2015 1:51 pm

Sithis smiled and shook his head. As he looked at her. Sithis's day has been now official compete. Central sure held some nice People. And crime wasn't that bad from what he had heard. Starling city had their own trouble with Hooligans. He bet Central had it's own set of Hooligans and trouble maker though perhaps this was the most amazing sight of all. Her hair was fabulous to say the least. "Aww that's good. Blue is a good color. It shall be the most amazing thing ever sold. I do have one dream all together." Sithis mused around, and the smiled at her. His dream was to meet a person with Natural purple hair. And by the looks of this world being all screwed up and juggling with Superheros, Villains, and Vigilantes it was hard not to have such amazing natural hair style. Though the thought of the natural purple haired brought perverted thoughts into his head. Which he quickly brushed them off.

His eyes narrowing as he did this and smiled. Sithis just noticed he had sounded a bit harsh and cruel. Slapping someone out of the blue. Just for saying someone hair was awful was harsh and cruel. immediately Sithis decided to make amends in hopes of the woman not thinking horribly about him. His eyes narrowing deeper as he mad oddly eye brow movements. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to sound that cruel. I was under the impressive that was was comical. Sadly, I let my big ego get in the way of things. So I must say. My deepest Apologizes. I did not mean to do so. " he told her honest. Now that he thought about it he did sound a bit ridiculously when he mentioned about a slap to the face.

He smiled at her given her a warm and gentle smile as he did. He would shake his head and smirk."Keep it. Or at-least put it in a jaw as charity. I make enough. It good for me to be able to give to the people. As a thank you for helping me in life. You help someone in return you will get something back. When you least expect it. It's not a Karma thing more of common sense. You treat people nicely they will ya know return the favor or the world would eventually or hopefully. I don't know. I'm not a Philosopher. "He chuckled as he attempted at Humor again.

Sithis was really cracking jokes today. Sithis shook his head and sighed."Well aren't ya a treat. Thank you, it's a pleasure to meet a staff member of any store that's welcoming. Thank you very much." he announced. With a please tone. He waited for his coffee and tea to be made. Hopefully it was made soon. he was really eager to taste it.

"Aww, Eduction is always nice and pleasant. Central isn't bad from the looks of it." he told her. Giving her a warm and bright smile.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Cassandra George Thu May 14, 2015 8:44 am

She smiled and nodded along to his continuing thoughts of her hair, wondering what dream he was referring to.  At his apology she instantly recovered from her previous off-topic thoughts, offering a reassuring smile. "Oh, no, it's alright," she insisted, "I would just be afraid of hurting them too much.  I mean, some people can be quite delicate, even if it's hard to tell, while others are stronger than they look." She made no further elaboration on the subject, deciding to drop it before it could become anywhere near personal.  Obviously there was no way to tell that she was referring to herself, but if they continued to talk about it she ran the risk of accidentally dropping clues, and for all she knew this man was her enemy.  Her mind temporarily wandered to an imaginary encounter with him on the shadowed roofs of towering buildings, which loomed like giants in the night.  She could envision the initial fight, the chase, the escape, but she knew it would not be accurate because it was only in her head.  Sure, she knew Central's night better than most, but he was an unknown variable that potentially held fatal threats.  She stopped thinking about it.

"If you insist, I guess I'll eventually find some way to use it." She smiled at his final comment . "Well you sound like one, maybe you're a secret philosopher.  Or maybe your subconscious is a philosopher." It was a fantastical idea, having a different profession for just the depths of one's mind, but she supposed that it was possible. "I agree with you, if that helps.  Give and you shall receive." She quoted, uncertain as to where she had first heard the phrase or even its origin.

"And thank you, too.  It's nice to talk with friendly customers." That part was one of the main reasons she enjoyed working at Jitters, especially with the wide variety of people they served.  Finally, the tea was done, and Cassie grabbed another cup to pour it into.  She placed both that and the coffee on the counter next to the cookies for him to take. "I hope you enjoy your surprise," she said, "and maybe I'll see you again sometime?" It was basically in her job description to draw in regular or semi-regular customers, which was what she was trying to do.  Thankfully it seemed to be working so far.

An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis) Empty Re: An Early Morning Coffee (Sithis)

Post by Sithis Nonomyth Thu May 14, 2015 9:35 am

Sithis smiled at her. Oh she is the kind one it seemed. Yes it would be bad to hurt someone. People might be to emotional when hit, sensitive or babies. Then again, Sithis himself hit quite a lot and they were very strong punches that were capable of punching through walls. Sithis himself knew what she meant. Seeing as he ended up killing one guy when he ducked him square in the jaw along with his entire spine and neck ripped off from it's socket from how hard he punched him. That was a distasteful Image, not even Sithis wanted to share with anyone.

His eyes narrowing as he spoke."Yep, but then again. Sharing life is rather boring. Though, the thought and study of Life and the idol itself is rather interesting to be honest. There are different interests in evolution, Science, Machines, God, the supernatural. It'll take an open mind to believe in such things. I myself am not that opened mind. I refuse to believe in such events. Supernatural is false and fake. No matter how much Television propaganda tells you it. With the Heroes and Villains. This place is a screwed up world to begin with." he noted. Though that wasn't entirely true to be quite honest.

Sithis did believe in some events. Just not in all. He would give her a warm smile. And simply shake his head. Well she was interesting. And Sithis will be coming here more often in the near future. "Be seeing you! Thanks for everything." he took the cookies, The Coffee and Tea. And left the Establishment. Simply shaking his head as he did this he would narrow his eyes. And through Cassie a wink. Her way. Before exiting the place. Sure was a nice gal that woman was. Interesting to be honest. Sadly, Sithis was a spoken man. Shame really to be quite honest.

(And thread ended. Sorry for the small post!)
