The day dragged on, as did the hours following the rather small lunch rush, and without many customers to serve Cassie was assigned to cleaning off the tables and sweeping the floor.  Usually Jeremy, the newest to Jitters, would take care of that, but he had called in sick; no one believed his claim, though.  In any case, Cassie was just glad to have something to do, especially to the song currently playing over the cafe speakers.  She swiped the tables, nodding slightly to the beat, then moved on to the floor, which had the usual amount of crumbs and dirt on it.

Within thirty minutes she had already finished, and her boss let her relax since there was nothing much else to do and someone else was handling the register.  She decided to doodle and listen to her own music to pass the time, sitting at one of the tables as if she were a customer.  The policies were surprisingly relaxed at Jitters, as was her boss, so for some part of her day she was allowed to just wait around until something new came up.  She absentmindedly mouthed the lyrics of the song, letting her mind wander and come up with strange things to draw.

Jasper has been out in the streets of Central City. It was indeed a beautiful sight to see. Starling was good but Central was amazing as well. It was odd to quite honest. That Central was rather amazing. The Sun Shined beautiful among the city building windows that glazed with shiny sparkles. Jasper had sent his bodyguards out on a wild goose chase. His eye widen as he saw the sights of a lovely shop. Guess he would have to go look at the shop and enjoy it.

Making his way slowly towards the direction of the Shop/Cafe he would open the door and examine the enter area. It was so lovely and the smell of it smelled of amazing brewing coffee and cookies. Such a toxic smell. It was a good toxic smell as it would attractive lots of people into it because it smelled nice. It would be nice to see a lot of people here. Mostly because it would bring a lot of customers to the shop well store. Which meant more money. He had a Suit on very expensive one, ID, and wallet with some cash and some credit cards. Jasper had forgotten his Drivers license at home mostly because he wasn't the one who was drivers. His bodyguards were.

For once, Cassie did not notice another customer had entered the cafe, as she was already lost.  It was common for her to become absorbed in her music, especially when she knew that she had no other responsibilities.  As the song switched to a more calm one she smiled and started gently bobbing her head along with it, only aware of the words and instruments that carried her mind.  That specific song reminded her of her nighttime escapades as Goner, and how peaceful those moments could be.  While she did live for the excitement, everyone needed to have some kind of calm in the storm.

After some time the song changed again, this time to a fast one that she knew all the lyrics to, so of course she had to mouth them.  Having a wide preference made it easy to enjoy all types of songs, even rap and classic from time to time.  Anyone else in the room went unnoticed as she concentrated on getting the words right, which was sometimes difficult considering the speed they were going at.  Unknowingly she began to quietly sing as a somewhat slower section of the song began, and her hand drew interlocking shapes that resembled abstract buildings.  The napkin drawing was nothing special, as singing was her real area of expertise, and to most it would probably look like squares, but at least she knew what it was.

Jasper glanced around as he took over the entire room. His eyes flicked around. Gosh the smell of it was sure amazing. He was certainly getting a good feel about this place. Jasper would have to do something about it to be quite honest. Something that would require a lot of driving to this place every day. Damnit it, it would be while but he thought he could manage it. He just had to taste the coffee and food in this places before ultimately deciding on what to pick for food stopping. It was either stop at the Starling City for Breakfast or here. He was hoping it would most likely be here. Mostly because the amount of delicious nice smelling foods and coffee would sell him nicely.

Shaking his head slowly. As he noticed a female. He drew his gaze at her hair. It was blue. How lovely, he adored the color blue for dyed hair, green, etc. It was amazing to see a female like her with her hair. He drew close to her and took a sit on the chair. As he sat down he would then simply looked at her and smile."Hey, there. has anyone told you. You have amazing eyes." Jasper said jokingly. As he gazed upon her eyes. Oh goodness she did have amazing eyes to be quite honest. They looked rather nicely. He smiled and shook his head. "Wow, you do have amazing eyes." he said honestly. Unaware if she could hear him or not.

Throughout the song she took no notice of the male nearby, even when he sat next to her, instead concentrating on the lyrics and her drawing.  Atop the buildings she had sketched a tiny figure, one only she could identify as her alter ego, perhaps one only she could notice.  She smiled at her accomplishment, thinking that she should keep the napkin for later before realizing that she would just forget about it.  If she wanted to be an artist then she would paint something to put on her wall; scribbles on a napkin were not the most special things in the world.  She steered herself back to enjoying the song so as to avoid negativity.

Beyond her music, Cassie finally heard something, probably someone's voice, and returned to reality.  She was surprised to see someone sitting at the table, looking at her.  She could tell he was saying something, but as her headphones were still on she could not decipher his words.  As soon as she fully registered that he was talking to her she took off her headphones and paused her music. "Oh!  I'm sorry," she felt it was right to apologize, "I was totally lost in that song.  Were you talking to me?" If he had been talking to someone else then the situation would become fairly awkward, but since he had been watching her she was pretty sure his words had been directed at her, whatever they were.

Jasper looked at her and then drawing. She sure drew very well. he was impressed by this woman's talents. His eyes narrowing as he did. He smiled and relaxed his eyebrows. Before noticing her voice finally directed to him."Oh I sure was. I was saying, you have the out right most beautiful eyes. I have seen in my entire life that I have lived in this world. That isn't much. Not to mention you draw like a bloody artist. You have a true gift in drawing. Not only that but your eyes. Are just. Um." he froze. He was having difficult forming speech once Jasper meet his eyes on her face. Good god the woman was gorgeous in an amazing way too. He was happy to meet her right now. He was happy to be in such a place.

"If only Starling had such amazing people such as yourself. I would be in heaven." he noted as he attempted to flirt with her. Though his words were not the best. Not when he was all flustered up and had nothing to say when left speechless. He was very amazed she had not told him off. Normal people don't come to random people out of no where. So he was very happy she had not given him the finger. This gave Jasper some form of hope. Though he still needed to summon up the courage to speak with her and form normal sentence structures.

"By the way what have you been listening to if you do not mind me asking?" Jasper found interest into her. So he decided to ask more about her.

As he began to speak again she paid close attention, but his words were vastly unexpected; rather than talk about her hair, he praised her eyes?  Her eyes were just brown, nothing special or unusual, yet he chose to speak about them anyway.  And her drawing skills were hardly a gift, though perhaps he had never seen a true artist at work.  With the combination of being caught off guard and uniqueness of his compliments, she could not stop a blush from coloring her cheeks.  Typically she was capable of hiding her embarrassment from others, but considering his own appearance she determined that it might not be so bad. "T-thanks," she had failed to collect her thoughts before speaking, resulting in slight hesitation and a bashful glance to the side.

Despite it all she smiled, especially at his adorable nervousness.  It was nice to know that someone who looked so perfect was still human, though she supposed a flawless person would still be incredible.  She was too friendly to ward anyone off, at least in her civilian persona.  She held the belief that being rude would get you nowhere, and followed it daily, but that did not include nights.  Plus, there was no sense in driving off someone who gave such wonderful compliments.

His question was relatively easy to answer. "Oh, it's called Holding On To You, but I have yet to meet anyone who's familiar with it." She tended to listen to more uncommon bands such as the artists of that particular song.

His he smiled as he noticed her blush and chuckled. "You shouldn't be hiding such a pretty face like yours. You should not be embarrassed, I speak the truth. I held not lies in my words. In fact I think it would be best if we got to know each other more." Jasper shook his head and sighed."You are most welcome." His eyes fixed into her dreamy brown eyes as he just stared, almost day dreaming. He felt like he was kid in love again. She was so perfect and it surprised him how female like herself remained perfect and flawless and still had a gentle nature to to her. It was amazing that she had such gifts as well in terms of drawing, Jasper had never seen such magnificent drawing before. In fact he wasn't much an art person even though Jasper had a lot of Art in his wall. Irony was a witch sometimes and it truly sucked mostly.

He smiled."Oh the joy of Rap and Hip Pop, blasting through the ears. Care to blast the music for us? if you do not mind. I would love to Busk and muse int the betterment of such an endearing and amazing song. Don't you think?" he asked her in a curiously tone. He was so excited that she knew the the song. IS was rare for someone to know such a song. Though he it mostly because others didn't listen to such music. Well the people that Jasper knew that is, till now. Jasper was so thrilled that he met a second person that listened to such an amazing song other then him.

"So what is your name? I am Jasper Lionheart. People call me Jasper. " He told her.

Hiding?  Had she been hiding?  Perhaps she was, but she had failed to notice.  Maybe her hair had fallen in front of her face and obscured his view of her features, which was likely even if she had not noticed. "Well it may be the truth but it's not often heard," she explained, "and that's why I'm embarrassed." Sure, comments on her hair were common, whether positive or negative, but because the other aspects of her were not as noticeable they often went unmentioned.  She supposed it was nice to hear something new.  Her eyes gazed back at his, almost entranced by his handsome features.  He was definitely among the most attractive males she had seen in her lifetime, aside from the superficial advertisements that littered every corner and building.

So he wanted to listen to music; she complied, unplugging her headphones and starting the song over again so they could listen to all of it.  She nodded at his last question, "I agree.  Do you know Twenty One Pilots?" She wondered if he was familiar with the song and its band, or if he simply enjoyed music in general.  It would be a slight disappointment to discover he was just trying to find things in common with her by acting as if he knew the song, but at least he was making an effort.  So many people already faked their way through life, so if he was genuine it would only make him more attractive.

For a split second she considered giving him only her first name, but it was not as if it would matter anyway. "Cassandra George, but most know me as Cassie." She had always thought that her full first name was a bit too regal and fancy for her, so from the start of middle school she went by Cassie, with the occasional use of Cass.

Jasper gave her a gentle smile. His eyes brighten up as he glared at those eyes. So magnificent. Brown,Green, hazel, were amazing, and blue. He smiled. "The Truth is often hidden. Still." he smiled as he shook his head. She was amazingly cute. Jasper rested his hand on his chin as he stared at her. "Forgive me, for staring. But those eyes are just Splendid. I'm sorry, again." he apologizes again. He had a dark shade of red. On his cheeks. So guess he had gained a potential friend. Though he didn't want a friend. He wanted a girlfriend. And Unlike most females, Jasper had met. She seemed Intelligent, Talented, Amazing, and her personality was just flawless. Which he was rather happy.

He smiled."I've heard of the Song perhaps once or twice to be honest. I wouldn't mind hearing it again. The Tune, is interesting. The lyrics itself are rather unique in it's own nature. So yep." Jasper announced in a calm tone.. He was being honest. Honestly was a good start to be with someone he was trying to attempt to befriend or something more, while gaining her or his trust. Jasper was a genuine nice guys. Jasper smiled as she turned up the music. Jasper, liked Music a lot he wasn't the type of guy that disliked music. Mostly because Music kept him going through the night. And Music was general a good thing to pass time or get inspiration for him to street being active and start training.

Jasper's yes narrowed as he heard her next set of words. "It's a Pleasure to meet you. Cassie. Truly a pleasure. I must say. I have never met such a person such as yourself. With these traits, Amazing hair, Splendid eyes, talented artist, has a taste for music, and mostly the best thing about you; you have the most out right flawless personality. Please tell me, you are not some kind of Goddess." He told her as he chuckled."It wasn't a pick up line."Jasper added, he spoke truthfully."I just got carried away at the end. I never seen someone so perfect and human still. You truly are amazing." He praised her.

Compliment after compliment, followed by apologies?  Honestly, Jasper was too cute, especially when he was embarrassed.  Cassie almost found herself wondering if he was the type to pick up girls left and right, a player.  Obviously she questioned his motives, but she was not very worried.  Being optimistic, she tended to assume the best of people, even strangers; it was part of the reason she was well-liked by customers.  At that thought, she wondered if he was aware that she worked there, but determined that it would not matter.  If anything it would provide him with an easy way to find her again, whatever his intentions were.

"Yeah, I just love to get lost in it," she admitted, "and to turn off all the lights so that I can concentrate on only the music.  I'd recommend it to anyone." That activity was something she had been trying to do more often, but between her alter ego and her job there was not much free time in which she remembered to relax.  Her life was fast-paced most of the time, leaving little room for leisure aside from the occasional empty evening in which there was nothing.  But her friends were numerous and hardly left her time for herself, plus she found it hard to say no to activities.  She was lucky to have a few quiet moments at work.

His next words made it seem as if he was a broken record, regurgitating compliments that he had already said, aside from the last one. "Nice to meet you too, Jasper, but... Goddess?  Hardly." She was nowhere near perfect, just friendly and open, capable of smoothing over her flaws by being outgoing.  If she was closed off then she guessed that she would be more imperfect. "Flawless, though?  We barely know each other, so far." It seemed only right to add on the last two words, since for all she knew they would become very close, but she began to wonder if that was what she wanted.  Jasper seemed as if he was trying to win her favor, perhaps manipulate her.  For once, her smile faltered slightly.

Jasper looked at her and smiled. I wonder would she go for someone like me? In a relationship? I would love to go out with some one like her. It would be a real treat to be honest. It would be amazing and lovely. I can show her the Castle. What female does not like castles. It's huge too. So big with lots of hidden chambers and doors. Jasper thought to himself slowly. His eyes narrowing.

"Music is an excellent way to escape from life. And lovely coping Mechanism, to cope with stress, drama, family issues, etc. Music is fun thing." he told her. His eyes narrowing even more. He needed something else to talk about. He was running out of ideas by how great she was."So what do you do for a living if you do not mind me asking." He asked her. In a curious tone. Surely she did not work here? By how relaxed she was in this place. It wouldn't be professional. Unless she was on break that is. Maybe she worked else where. Or she was far more fancy then he thought. Whatever she worked he would be happy.

"No? Perhaps not. But you are certainly a woman I find interest in. You have great quantities in your personality. Which is really great." He told her. His eye brows relaxed to normal and he shook his head. As he let out a small chuckled."Just because we hardly know each doesn't mean first impressions don't count." He chuckled. Towards himself.

He noticed her smile go away slight. he raised a eye brow. Before speaking."Forgive me. Did I do something wrong? I've not wronged you? Have I? I'm sorry." he said. He hoped he did not upset her in any way. He was good at reading people's faces. He had hoped he did nothing wrong to upset her, In any way.

He looked at her eyes and sighed."Please forgive me. I didn't mean to. It's just when I noticed your smile. I thought I did something wrong. Or are you upset about other things?"Jasper questioned her in a wondrous tone. Hoping to get some form of answers if any to be honest. He did not want to ruin his chances with a possible mate in the future? Though that didn't mean that it would ever happen her being his permanent mate. Though A man could drop a lot.

So why can't Jasper Dream a bit? Right? He was a man after all.

Cassie had only ever dated one person, and that was only for two months before they both realized that it was not meant to be.  They had been desperate to find someone to claim as their own, so desperate that they had settled for somebody who was not perfect for them.  Though the break-up had been so calm and mutual that she hardly considered the girl to be her ex.  After that, there was no one she felt a connection with, aside from the occasional cute customer, but those moments were minuscule and never lasted even until lunch.  Sometimes Cassie questioned if she even wanted to be in a relationship with anyone.  She was lucky to have found friends that she got along with most of the time and that she was outgoing.

At the question of her work she easily answered, "I actually work here, believe it or not." It was not something that she was ashamed of, since Jitters was a respectable establishment in Central. "It's really nicer than you would think, and I'm only relaxing over here because it's been a slow day; otherwise I'd be busy.  I mean, it's not anything special, but I enjoy it, and isn't that what matters most?" Her personal belief was that happiness outweighed the paycheck, meaning an enjoyable job was better than one that paid more.

"Wrong?  Oh, no, it's nothing.  Irrational and stupid," she insisted with a dismissive wave of her hand,"if anything at all." She ignored her previous thoughts, recovering masterfully and shrugging it off. "No need to apologize so much, everything's fine."

"Hey Cass!" Cassie's glance moved to the source of the voice, her boss. "I need you to do some restocking, can you do it now?" She felt almost relieved to have something productive to do, even if it would stop the conversation.

She turned to Jasper, smiling apologetically. "Sorry, duty calls." She stood, stopping the music and pocketing the napkin drawing. "If you ever want to talk more, you can find me here Monday through Friday, seven to three."

Jasper looked at her and smiled."Ah." Was the only replied he could think of right now. It was a bit of a put down then anything to be quite honest. Shaking his head slowly, he would sigh. He had a few girlfriends, About three or Five. Always lead to sex. Which he normally did not ever like the idea. Sure sex was an pleasurable experience depending on experience of both partners but, he didn't like that idea all the time. He wanted to get the best out of the relationship other then mindless screwing around. He wanted something more. For the person to enjoy the fun times. Not just for a woman to use him as a money bag, object, or body for her personal pleasurable needs. This was the only reason why, He was interested in Cassie. Because she was different. Well she seemed different then most. This is exactly why he wanted to have some form of thing with her? if any of that made sense. It wasn't love in first sight, Jasper didn't believe in that sort of thing. It was broken and flawed emotion or feelings to even have.

His eyes narrowing as he did sighed and shook his head. "If I knew you better. I would tell you were lying. But I don't know you. That well." As good as he was at reading people. He clearly knew something was wrong. He just decided to put that off to the side and let it be. Just for the sake of everything. His eyes glanced at her."So you work here. It's official you shall see me soon here. It's been a pleas-" he was caught off when her boss called for her.

"Pleasure.. Be seeing you then." He chuckled. And then went into a deep thought for two minutes. Before standing up waving and walking out.
