Thea had spent months leading the League in Ra's absence now that she was free there was one person that she wanted to see but she had no idea where to find that one person. Though she had a number so shot in the dark she sent him a text saying that she would be in her club tonight if he was wanted to meet her. She also mentioned that she was sorry for not contacting him earlier something had came up.

Thea sat at a table she needed love she wanted someone to care for her. Someone who didn't see her as a freak she had lost her mother well was kicked out the Queen family due to one fact she was a meta. Her mother hated metas and now that she knew she was one she was no longer welcome. Thana had her own problems and Oliver well he was always busy these days running his campaign for mayor which she was helping with until she was called away to the League.

One Night stands.. not really David's forte.. at least not anymore.. back when he was in the army he had a few of them.. mostly with female personnel whom relationships were forbidden with. Surprisingly, he never really dated outside the army.. for he never wanted to put anyone through the pain of waiting at home wondering if he would ever return. With other army personnel, they knew they too may not come home.. so it made things easier. Now that David was Blue Lightning, the same rules applied. However David never looked for one night stands.. didn't see a point to them anymore.

However there had been the one night, months ago, after the big battle in Starling with the Vamp peeps, that he had spent with the Green Arrow's sister, Thea Queen. She had not spoken to him since.. had basically dropped off the face of the earth. David tried not to take offense by it, as they both played in the same game..with the same risks and dangers, though David was unsure if on the the same side. Whispers had reached his ears about Thea leading the League.. mostly from victims of his, who did not survive their encounters, but wanted to torture David before their deaths.

So he had been surprised when she had texted him, wanting to meet up. Luckily David had been in Starling following up on a lead for the CCPD, so David decided it was okay to take a little time off and see her. He went Verdant, and found her sitting at a table. He slid in across from her and said "Long time no see" He smile softly. He decided he would keep the fact he suspected she worked for the League a secret for now.. to see if she brought it up to him.

Thea smiled as she saw David. Though sighed slightly as she was beginning to wonder if the secrets could end up ruining the relationship. She got up and grabbed a beer from the cooler and brought it back to him. "Yeah it has sorry something had came up..." She said as she looked at him studying his face. "Umm.. there is something I need to tell you... Though I am not sure how to." She said sighing slightly. This really was hard she wanted to have a relationship but he needed to know the truth.

"Not sure if you remember the first time I disappeared and Oliver put together a search party... I was kidnapped not by who Oliver was told. It was by Nyssa and then Ra's al Ghul's told me that Oliver was the Arrow... I was angry at him so I took his offer to join the League to get back at my brother for keeping a secret from me." She said softly looking down at the table. She honestly hoping that she hadn't just ruined her friendship between them.

Something came up.. yeah.. David was starting to have a feeling that he knew exactly what had come up, and knew he wouldn't like it. However he wasn't going to call her out on it.. not yet. It seemed she wanted to confess, but was not sure how. So David said "Maybe start with the truth.. and no sugar coating.. I can take it. I mean.. its not like we are actually together.. so if its another guy it won't bother me" He knew it wasn't another guy.. but it was smart to play it innocent.

David nodded when She told him about the search party.. David knew because he had been part of that search party.. he did not recall whom kidnapped her, because it had been about that time that the whole battle thing happened.. and then after that it no longer seemed to matter whom kidnapped Thea.. because she was back.. and locked in a secret room with him. He tried not to smile when she told him she joined the League out of revenge, she had at least told him the truth. Instead he said "So you joined Oliver's enemies.. you know.. the ones that tried to kill him? Not to mention my own enemies.. you know they have Meta's who work with them in Central Right? Quite a handful really.. one even left a mark on me." That ONE was currently residing in Iron Hieghts, having marked him with a sword across his right side.

Thea closed her eyes for a couple minutes. "I know at the time I was so hurt I thought I had my brother back but it turned out he had an alter ego that was wanted by the police for murder. I had so many emotions that I really didn't know what to do. I just chose at the time what I thought was best. Now I don't think I chose the right path with it putting me against my family and my friends." Thea sighed the truth was she did want out but she lover the power and the fact that she felt wanted with the club.

"I don't want to live in secret. I am doing exactly what my brother did to me lying to him and everybody else who I really am and I can't do that any more I just can't. While I was leading the League for the couple months I felt more alone then I ever felt and that was not because I didn't have anyone to talk to it was because I couldn't talk to my family. I couldn't talk to you." She said softly as she placed her head into her hands she really didn't want this life any more.

David nodded slowly "I can understand that anger. You know, for a few months of the explosion, People really hated me. My own friends and comrades dissed me for dropping out of the army, called me a coward.. weak. It made me so angry. I think that was the turning point for me. I was just learning about my.. special abilities. I could have taken the path many of our kind have taken, and gotten revenge, however I did not. There is still time Thea.. time to change your ways" Blue Lightning could have easily becomes the Flash's enemy, but he chose to be the Flash's ally instead. It was a smart move, because David knew he had little to no chance of winning against Barry. Barry would most likely be immune to his lightning, which was a great deal of David's power. He might be able to fly away, but he would have to land eventually.. and the Flash would be waiting for him.

David hesitated for a moment when she put her head in her hands, not sure what he should do.. finally he reached across and gently pet her head. "The league do not allow those to leave them.. the Dark Archer is a prime example. However if you wish to leave, they will have a hard time of getting to you. Tell your brother.. Oliver will be hurt, but he would rather die than see his sister killed. Team Arrow and Team Flash will stand beside you Thea.. we stick up for our own."

Thea looked up with tear stained cheeks she wanted to tell her brother but she was afraid what he would do to her. Though maybe David was right maybe Ollie wI'll forgive her eventually. "I might be in trouble for telling you this already. Ra's al Ghul seems to have spies everywhere these days. As there is war within the League it's self. No one trusts each other any more. Now wold be the best time then any to take it down. I was chosen to lead as I seemed to be the most trusted."

Thea looked over at the table. At least he hadn't left. He actually wanted to help her which she didn't understand why. She told him she had joined the side of his enemies yet he still wanted to help her? She was done running hopefully she can tell her brother the truth though she was scared to. She wasn't sure 8f she knew Oliver any more. Yes he showed his kindness for her his love yet he was a man of secrets. "Can you come with me when I tell Ollie? I can't do it alone." She said weakly. She really was certain that she wouldn't be able to tell her brother her deepest darkest secret if she were to do it alone.

David nodded, having expected that. Something was off when the League spoke about themselves to taunt those who defeated them. They were taught silence, even in the face of death. However many League Meta's had told him Thea had been running the League. So he said "Yes, I suspected as much, when the others told me you were leading the League, something must have been up for them to spill the beans about you leading them" There.. he had told her he knew all along, had known for over a month now. He had given her a chance to come clean, and she had.. which was the right choice.. otherwise he was going to have to talked to Oliver himself, or maybe bring Thea in himself. With coming clean, she had kept his friendship. Was he willing for more? He was unsure. She probably wasn't, and he had just kind of been betrayed by her.. especially since it many ways it was her fault he now hard a festering scar across his right side from the blade of the league. It was more prominent than any scar he had received from the vampire fight ages before.

David sighed, torn. This was a family matter, he was not even really a member of team arrow.. honorary member maybe.. but he was more a team Flash vigilante. Yet Thea needed him. So he said "This is a family matter.. and if Oliver wants me gone.. I will leave.. however I will go with you."

Thea smiled she was glad that he wpuld at least go with her. She tucked her hair behind her ears. She knew they would have to work on their relationship yet she knew he was someone she could trust and the first person she really told about her powers. "That is fine. I just need to know that someone is close by." She really hated that she had yet betrayed another one of friends.. "I am really sorry that I didn't warn you of the attack from that meta." Why hadn't she warned him? She knew why she wanted to keep her secret yet now that she realized that the League was hurting those who she cared about Thea could no longer stand idle.

She really had to do something about what she was doing. Thea could no longer be part of the organization that was hurting those who she cared about. Why hadn't she seen this earlier? She knew why she was full of anger and wanted her brother to pay for the secrets he kept from her.

David sighed and nodded when she apologized for that meta going after him. He was not exactly hurt over it, considering she did not seem to know that he had tried to kill David. "I can handle myself. That cut was more due to my own stupid mistakes than his skill. He just shocked me by saying how you were the leader and sent him. SO I froze.. no biggy. He's going to rot in Iron Heights for it.. although I could have killed him" He mused with a small smile at the thought. He would be lying if he said he wasn't tempted at the time. However Blue Lightning did not kill unless he had no other choice.

He then said softly "Text Oliver, give him a time and a place. We'll go together"
