Thana's outfit.



Thana stood in the corner of the shady little nightclub, her cloak on and covering her face. No one was going to recognize her, not as the wonderful Casey Lavenders God-Daughter. No. They would recognise her as ShadowShade. And if they did recognise her as that , well too bad for them.

She stood and looked, watching her target. A man, in the flicker of the strobe lights no one would notice her moving. She knew his methods, and watched as he went to the dance floor. To get his next victim. She quietly slipped through to the alleyway, and soon enough the man followed, dragging a girl with him. Her plant. A favour from a so called friend. The girl looked scaredly at them, praying ShadowShade would come. She didn't know the mysterious figure was already there.

"You really should of stopped with Sarah Jane." Thana said lowly, the night air making her virtually invisible. The man and his gang looked around. James Freewell. A high wealthy man, one of Queens high ranking men. He was on her list, and tonight another one would be crossed off. The man turned around only to get his men to cover him.  A small smile escaped her lips, and the first fight began.

Very quickly it was over, the men were big, fat and heavy. Finally it was down to her and Lucas Blackwell. He wasn't too bad of a fighter, but he wasn't too good either. She turned and kicked him in the groan before slicing his throat. Doing it so her plant didn't see it. She walked over to the girl, and handed her a wad of money. "Go." She said in a low voice, and the girl nodded and didn't look back and quickly ran off. That's when Thana noticed she wasn't alone and turned with a knife in her hand, and looked at the man behind her. "Not many can sneak up on me." She said, the knife flicking around her hand with practiced ease. "I do hope they weren't your friends."

David was impressed, to say the least. This man had kept David tracking him all the way from Central City. It was good in the end though, it turned out this man was part of a larger gang that it appeared Team Arrow had yet to deal with. David had hung back though, waiting for a good moment to begin to kick ass, yet of course someone else had to make it there first. He watched with a slight air of being impressed as she took them all on, yet he disliked how she handled them. Killing was not his style (IF she didn't kill as I couldn't tell 100% ignore this). Any bad guy he dealt with he let for the CCPD, and any Meta The Flash would take. David assumed he had a secret meta prison or something, as killing did not seem to be his style.

He emerged from the shadows, wearing his Blue Lightning gear as she let the last man walk. he did not flinch when she turned on him, after all, he had the force of nature on his side, not just his skill with a blade. His voice changer was on so it came out super low when he said "I assure you, they were no friends of mine. You did my job for me." It was all he said, wondering if she would see him as friend or foe.

Thana didn't move as the man spoke , and merely nodded from her hood. " Good for you." She said and turned to walk off. Her job done, all of them dead except the girl that she had paid. She had no quarrels with killing, she could tell he was using a voice changer, but so was she so they were even.

" By the way nice spangly outfit ." Thana told him, continuing to walk away. She had no quarrels or qualms with the man, thus she didn't really have an interest in him.. Yet.

David watched as she began to walk away, obviously not having a care in the world of the dead bodies she had littered over the ground. "There is still time for you to change. Killing is not the answer. There are less harsh ways of dealing with the low lives of this world." he stated, ignoring her quip about his outfit. He had the inspiration from both the Green Arrow and the Flash and it fit him quite nicely. It allowed for free movement, and was even made from materials that would not burn if stuck by lightning. "Yours is very interesting as well." He stated simply.

Thana turned back and let out a hearty laugh, her voice changer makin it sound unearthly . " Change what? Look into their history, rapists, thrives, murderers, you might not like to kill but it's what they deserve . They would get the death penalty anyway, I'm just saving court time ." Thana told him, she didn't kill without reason but these men needed to go.


Under her hood Thana raised an eyebrow, unseen by him but it was raised. " Out of everyone here, who. A . Has a spangly blue captain America outfit on , and B is useless ?"

David was liking this girl less and less "There are always other options than killing. By killing you sink to their level. You can not just don a suit and call yourself a hero.. you must earn that title, and you can not do that by killing." His hand rested on the hilt of his sword, ready to pull it out out if need be. If this was her attitude towards killing, he could not just let her walk away, even if Starling was not his city.

He snorted softly at her comment "A: Me.. B: you." He stated softly

Thana laughed again, three minutes. " Oh of course and you are going to show me the error of my ways and help me. Spare me the lecture ." She answered, two minutes . " If Arrow can't make me change my mind by putting an arrow through me neither can you ." Thana said, listening and watching as he put his hand on his sword.

One minute . " Hmmm well normally I would disagree with you... But tonight your right I'm useless. You can have fun with these guys without me." Thana said as she watched herself and captain Spangle get surrounded by the guys of the guy she had killed. " I hate to kill and run. But have fun Captain Spangle ." She said before disappearing past two of the gang. They were more worried about the man then the little girl. A terrible choice really.

David sighed "An arrow is not a symbol of motivation, that was his mistake. Passion and training are.. or if need be, a good stint in prison, but I would prefer the former to the later. I have a long flight back to Central City and I would rather not get home at 4 in the morning." Although, truth be told, he would rather just leave her be and let Team Arrow handle this. This was their city and really they should be doing their own dirty work, While taking care of this masked woman would certainly draw their attention, he did not aspire to be on the team.

David then looked around as the woman left and he was surrounded by men. "A hero's work is never done" he muttered as they attacked. Most wielded baseball bats but a couple had knives. His sword was out in seconds and he went to work. Dodging slicing and banging and with in minutes, all the baddies had been knocked out. He used some rope to tie them up and called the cops giving them a location. Next he took to the skies, searching for the hooded woman.

He soon found her and landed in front of her, his sword still in hand. "You were quick to scarper."

Thana hadnt really left the area she had been watching from the rooftop of how the man fought, and turned when he approached her and didn't draw any weapons . " I was still here I just wanted to see how well you did ." She pointed out, before pointing to the bow on her back, a crossbow. " I could of killed you at any point just then." ShadowShade pointed out, and kept her hood over her. " This isn't your city, what are you doing here ?"


The man had fought well, and had sparked her interest. He fought well and had gifts. That was always interesting .

David let out a low chuckle "You underestimate my powers ma'am. Don't you think I would have noticed the change in wind patterns before your arrow found its mark, and used the right amount of gust to blow it just enough off course to not do me any harm." He was kind of mad she had left him alone to deal with all the bad guys, considering it was her fault they were there, as her mishap lead to the attack in the first place.

David then shrugged "I was tracking one of the men you killed from Central, he was responsible for a couple murders, yet the Police had no solid evidence against him. He scarpered and I tracked him to Starling. As I am not in contact with Team Arrow, I decided to take care of it myself." he shrugged. She had done his job for him, if it weren't for the fact she had killed him, he would have left by now.

Thana raised an eyebrow " Huh your a gifted one ." She said simply , this mess would of been dealed with a lot easier if he had stayed out . " Typical you go for the murderer , but hey let's ignore the rapists that were there as well ." She said to him, " I have no quarrel with you so I suggest you call it a night Mr Spangles . "


With that Thana threw a tablet to him, " There's your evidence ." She said , all the recordings of the man murdering, and raping and all that horrible stuff was on it. " Take it. Now tell me I did wrong by killing them ." She said, she was done talking. " Any other questions Spangles ?"

David's eyes flared as she insulted him in such a manor "I was tracking the murderer, not the rapists. They reside in Starling, and thus are Arrow's problem, not mine. I in fact was about to go in and get them all when you decided you wanted to cover the ground in their own blood. I was waiting to see if more showed up. If there is one thing I have learned from working with the Flash, its that only when you have super speed does it pay off to rush in without knowing all the facts." His hand tightened on his sword handle, ready for a fight. he knew she would have a breaking point, and frankly he could not just let her walk away after she littered the ground in bodies.

When she threw him the tablet, he let it drop to the ground "I do not need proof, because no mater what, it was still wrong. you denied them a chance to see the error in their ways, to repent. That is the real punishment, having to live with what you have done for the rest of your life. Death is an easy way out. I can not let you walk away scott free for murder when I would not do it for anyone else. No mater your motives it was wrong." He could still see her views though, no mater how wrong they were. He was giving HER the chance to repent, instead of unleashing the powers of the sky on her.

Thana rolled her eyes " Them repenting wouldn't make up for what they did." She said, " Let it go Spangles. They're dead, and yes I have to live with the fact that I killed murderers and rapists . Guess what I can. The justice system here is corrupt , they would keep walking out , keep hurting . We don't have the same morals."


Thana did have morals, and a whole lot of them actually. " Let it go Spangles." She said, she didn't want to fight. " I really don't feel like kicking any more ass tonight ."

David sighed "And that is why you kill, because you just do not understand the power and pain of having to live a long life knowing you did something to someone and can not take it back. Many people when they age repent, and that can be the worst punishment. I myself killed... just doing my job, but people died, some innocent...unavoidable, and I will have to live with that until I die." As a Army Pilot he had taken out enemy fighters, and dropped bombs on people, some innocent.. there was nothing he could do about it now. "The Arrow must have his own prison, because anyone he takes never turns up in the ordinary prisons. Leave it to him, or even team up with him. Death is always avoidable and unnecessary."

He then snorted "Kick my ass. I do believe it would be the other way around. But I tell you what. You give up killing, and never set foot in my City, and I will let you go."

Thana looked at him, " I am here to make the streets safer, because I have the training for it Spangles. Listen, just because you think I am doing wrong doesn't mean I am. I have no intention of teaming up with a man that cant protect the streets properly. Not when he doesn't know them. And don't preach high and mighty to me about him. He doesn't have prisons he kills his marks as well."

Thana let a smirk go from her mouth, "I am not so sure. I'll tell you what. Since we both know I will kill again if I have to. I won't set foot in your city until you ask. And I wont kill the ones you want to try save. " Thana told him, before properly disappearing so he couldn't follow her. What an interesting man, Spangles. As she disappeared she smirked to herself, that was certainly a night to remember.

"The Name" David said quietly "Is Blue Lightning. I am not some Comic book character. I am Real.. and my retribution can be even more real." He personally did not care what the Arrow did with his prisoners, as, like the Flash, David had little hope of beating him. He was trained better than David, more comfortable with his weapons.

David then simple nodded, this was better than another fight.. he personally just wanted to get home and watch the game. As she walked away he then said "Don't break our deal, because even you can not take on the Flash... and I have him on speed dial." He then bent his knees before he took off into the skies, heading back to Central city.. heading back home.
