Ray Palmer looked out over Starling City from his new office in what was now known as Palmer Technologies. It had taken some wheeling and dealing to get this far, yet he was a billionaire, and could afford it all. He even bought the whole chain of stores that Felecity Smoak worked at, for he saw her true tallent, and wanted her working at Palmtech.. Palmtech.. nice. That would be what he called the place in causal conversation now.. and maybe non-casual conversations.

He needed Ms Smoak if he were ever to set forward his plan to protect Star city. For this was a city full of crime. A City that was dying. Ray had already lost his fiancee to crime.. he was not about to loose his City too.
