Cassie was exhausted.  The previous night had held nothing but restlessness and tears and sweat, as sleep had been riddled with memories and nightmares that terrified her.  It was only at one in the morning when she had even attempted to sleep, and after an hour dragged on she finally drifted into unconsciousness, but that only brought fear.  A measly two hours was the only rest she got before she awoke in a cold sweat, tired but too scared to sleep again.

Her nightmares included many things: her encounter with the fire-wielder, the moment she discovered her younger brother had been kidnapped, and that night that she could barely bring herself to think about.  Each one followed the other, creating a cycle that simply repeated itself if she continued to sleep, so as a solution she stayed awake.  For hours she watched the ceiling, or the darkness where she assumed her ceiling was, and thought late night thoughts until she could watch the sun rise.

Work was even more difficult, but she attempted to mask her exhaustion with caffeine, first starting with an energy drink before sipping on a coffee once she had arrived at Jitters.  It was still noticeable, so her boss refused to let her handle the register when it was too and assigned her an easier task while making sure Cassie knew that she could go home early if she wanted to.  Despite herself, she refused the offer.  Soon her shift was nearing its end, and she was permitted to relax on a stool behind the counter, waiting for the stray customer to wander in.  Throughout the day her mind had been occupied with dark thoughts, memories that she would rather forget, but she did not notice that she was slowly losing touch with herself.

Jasper was making he's way towards the the Location where Cassie worked. He honestly wanted to talk to her about some stuff and see how she has been hanging. It was true things were difficult for her. Yet Jasper had no idea why they were so difficult because she hasn't explained it. Though he had a pretty good idea for whatever it was. It wasn't something easy to discuss with. He shook he's head he wanted talk to know why she was so upset and he wanted to get to talk to her more. He was worried for her.

He arrived at her Shop. And made he's way towards her as he embraced the smell of coffee and cook making. He eyes looked at her."Hey, Cassie. How are you holding up?" he asked her. He wanted to know what was wrong. He cared for her very much. He eyes trailed at the different coffee things. "I've been meaning to get your trust you know? If you do not realize now. I've been trying you know. Trying hard. So you can talk to me and tell me what is wrong. So I can help you." He told her very honestly.

Shaking he's head calmly. There was also were things that he wanted to know more about her. Like what does she like to eat, her interests, what books does she like to read, etc. He already knew she could draw, had good taste in music. She was amazingly nice. However, all that changed over whatever incident occurred with her. He really wanted to know what was that problem. He had times where he was horrible and brought down by he's father by never like this in terms of other people feeling such horrible pain. Whatever was up with her it seemed to be boring her badly.

Jasper intended to fix that hopefully. He was her friend. He wanted to help her. Well he thought he was her friend.

Cassie failed to notice the door opening and closing, the small ringing of the bell it triggered, or the presence of Jasper until he spoke.  For a moment she simply looked at him, having not heard his first words and wondering what they were.  She had nothing to say until he used the words "help you," but even at those her thoughts were scattered. "You've..." she trailed off, trying to figure out where she was taking herself, "You've made that obvious already, but I'm fine, really.  You shouldn't worry so much." She put on a smile, but it almost hurt to wear such a lie.

Her exhaustion was obvious, both physically and mentally, but even Jasper's persuasion would not be able to sway her towards rest; sleep brought fear, and Cassie would never willing embrace that emotion.  Even her waking moments were fraught with difficulty as that man's face ran through her mind over and over, back and forth, until she doubted her own sanity.  How could one person make such a negative impact on her life, especially a stranger?  But it was that fact that was the most devastating, because a complete stranger had gotten her into bed.  She had been waiting for the right person, but none of that mattered now.

The only person she had spoken to about the incident was that woman, the Seer, whom she did not even knew the true identity of, making everything harder to talk about.  It was unsettling knowing that a complete stranger was aware of something in her life even when she had not told anyone about it.  It made her wonder if Jasper actually did know about what happened, and in her state that theory was hard to deny.  She suspected that he had gotten his knowledge from that woman, that they were working together to bring her down.  Jasper would never succeed--if that were proved to be true, that is.  Cassie's delusional mind made "sense" of everything in wrong ways, but until she slept she would be skeptical of Jasper, the one who truly wanted to help her.

Jasper blinked as he observed her. He's gentle warm smile. Remain even when she lied. Jasper knew whatever it was that was with her. Did not go away that easily. He would make it he's mission to found out what was wrong. He Pointed he's finger at her."I honestly was told not to point." He said calmly. But the finger did not touch her."You.." He trailed off before trying to collect he's thought."Shouldn't lie to people that care. If I had half the mind people had. I would have been. Oh sure you say everything is fine? SURE IT"S FINE! You honestly never met someone who truly wants to help you, have you Cassandra." He paused as he used her full first name rather then her shorten name. Meaning what he was about to say next held a lot of meaning.

"I am not some half wit. That would give into your words after you said you okay, your fine. Because what happened a few days. You acted a completely different person. It has been what over a week. Yet you resume to not request help. I know you said you waiting for the right person to talk to. But clearly. Have you not looked in front of you. I've been trying. I've been trying, and WILL not stop. Till I found out what's wrong and attempt to fix you." he told her."Because you are not okay, your far from a okay. I have a theory of what happened. Though I do not wish to talk about it. So if you won't tell me. I will resume helping you till you tell." He's theory was, She was beaten, Raped, Hurt, or attacked, those were the options he was thinking. However Jasper had no idea what truly happened.

"Cassie. This is the worse place for me to ask you and the wrong times. But after your swift. I would like to show you something. Something I noticed. About a Dog. In a pet store. You'll understand what I mean." This would either upset her, annoy her, piss her up, let her relax, maybe open up. The dog was hurt. He was beaten, yet there was the Vent that made it their jobs to care and take of the dogs, and nurse it back to health. Cassie needed to realize that she had people that wanted to get Close to her, that are willing to help without seeing some paid person, like a shrink, and that their were nice and wonderful people out their.

As Jasper continued to speak, Cassie was not able to deny any of his words.  They hurt, everything hurt, and she was breaking.  She felt so exposed, as if he was tearing at her fragile walls that she had put up, and they were falling.  It was hard to keep the smile, and within a number of seconds it slowly vanished, giving way to something sad.  Without her guards she had no clue what to do, and she scrambled for a facade to mask her experiences and shyness.  She was a very different person than before; quiet, defensive, sometimes angry.  Now she understood why Jasper was so worried, but that knowledge was not what broke her.

If she had been thinking rationally, she would have found some kind of reason to continue denying him of any trust or insight of the incident.  But she was not thinking straight, and she was not able to form some clever reply or angry retort.  Cassie had trouble ordering her thoughts, those of the past, the future, the present, and while she at least understood what Jasper was saying, it barely registered.  Memories appeared, ripping through her mind and bringing pain like a slap across the cheek.  Could she really trust him?  Would him knowing the source of her troubles truly help anything?

Her brown eyes shone, reflecting the light in a way that only oncoming tears did.  She closed her eyes for a moment, letting them fall, hiding behind her hands that leaned on nothing and the hair that had masked her fragility. "I just..." she sniffed, "I don't know what to do." Her words were slightly muffled by her hands and tears, interrupted by faint sobs that she could not stop.  She had failed, been exposed, shattered.

Jasper looked at her and smiled. He's smile never left her. It was not a smile as in hahah that's what you get. It was a smile that Jasper gave to everyone not just her. He looked at her as she fell and broke apart. She had hid her hands into her face, and her hair covered her face slightly. As he looked at her."Talking will be a good start." He told her softly. Enough for her to hear it. He looked at her she really did seem broken, he will do he's best to fix this for her. She was broken, but she was not weak yet. He would help be strong. He smiled at her again and finally spoke."A woman once told me. Crying is for the weak. However, I disagree with her. Crying is a good way to express emotion." Jasper told her. Jasper needed to do something make her understand that he cared.

"Cassie, if you don't mind perhaps I should hug you in terms of showing that I care. That would be best." He noted, And then attempted to hug her, if allowed he wrapped his arms around back and held her tightly."Cassie, please I want you to talk to me. I want to help you get better, make you forget if possible, help you erase whatever that's bothering you, or beat the crap out of anyone that had caused you harm." He's voice calm, soft, and sincere. Everything that he had said. Jasper meant.

After a mine he released the hug."Shall we speak? I would really want to know. Please allow me to know, so I can help you." He told her. He nodded towards her. Jasper felt this would be a good area to talk to her. Maybe not, perhaps they should walk and talk, maybe that would be much better?

His smile; his kind, beautiful smile that she did not deserve.  Why would someone like him go to such great lengths for a regular girl like her?  She wondered why he cared, if it was real, if he was being honest.  She wanted so badly to nod and agree with his words but she felt so overwhelmed that it was difficult to; she was relieved that he did not think she was weak.  Having someone legitimately care about her was something she needed more than she had realized, and it felt nice.

She should have been completely prepared for the embrace.  She should have listened to him asking permission.  Instead, she froze as his arms encircled her, pulling the both of them closer together.  Her eyes widened, she realized that she had not been that near another person since that night, and she was scared.  But she was also immensely relaxed.  Slowly, she adjusted to the hug, concentrating on his words, his promises that no one had ever offered her before.  She knew that he deserved her trust, especially after all of the difficulties she put him through.

As he pulled away, part of her wanted to continue the hug for longer, but she had no courage to try.  So he was offering her safety, healing, validation, and it was her own stubborn nature that had kept her from it.  She nodded, trying to consider whether discussing it in her work place would be the best option or not.  Sure, she felt safe in it, but all of her co-workers were present, and she could feel their discreet glances, predict the awkward exchanges of the following days.  No, talking there would not be ideal, but then, where? "Um, m-maybe not here..." Regretfully she had no other suggestions, but perhaps he did.

Jasper was glad that she was enjoying the hug greatly. He smiled her way. He looked at her and spoke."Of course not here. I have the perfect quiet place. I shall remain here. Till you get off work. We'll go to my truck once we arrive, I'll take you to the. The Place I wanted to show you about the Dog. If It's not closed." He mentioned the dog. Because he wanted to prove her that he cared. That he wasn't lying. Sure Jasper met her a few days ago. He grew attracted to her. Then Sadly she was a whole different person within two to three days. After what something happened to her majorly. Then simply boom! She was another whole different person three days after meeting her on the street.

She honestly did need his help or at least if not him someone like him willing to listen and help the people he cared about. Cassie was one of people. That Oddly enough, Jasper cared about, whom he had just met a few days ago. Well a week.

Jasper not given up on her. Making sure she had lots of care and someone to vant and talk to. Because if he gave up now. He wouldn't be Jasper. He would be someone else. The Jasper that was caring was the real Jasper. So He made it his mission to help whom ever. Cassie oddly enough was a different case. He kinda felt something. Attracted to her. SO this was a special mission that he must do on he's on in order to attempt and get to the possibility open up. "Hopefully to the places I take you. You would be able to trust me. After I show you what I am trying show. It's more a metaphor Believe or something similar. I am not exactly sure. But I am sure you would Understand what I mean." She had to understand the wounded dog. And what he tried to offer Cassie. He offered her help. In return he wanted her not to be so hidden, destroyed, or changed. He wanted Cassie to be Cassie.

She wasn't weak. That wasn't what it was. She was just shutting the people that are willing to help her. Jasper just hoped he could get to her before it was too late.

Cassie nodded, wondering if her shift had already ended.  When Jasper had come in she had only had fifteen minutes left, and after a glance at the clock she knew that only five minutes remained.  She looked at her boss and received a nod, permitting her to leave. "We can go now, my shift's done." Her voice was a bit quiet, a result of her previous state, but visibly she looked decently stable.  It was fairly obvious that she had been crying though only because of the red tinge on her cheeks and eyes where she had rubbed the tears away.

She wondered what dog he kept talking about, why he thought it would help her.  Maybe it would display how Jasper wanted to help?  It was odd, considering he was probably comparing her to a dog, but it was also kind of sweet of him.  Maybe he was not such a bad guy, since he had stuck by her through all the trouble and still wanted to help her.  Cassie could not remember anyone else who had done that for her, apart from her mother, but that was different.  Jasper barely knew her, yet seemed so dedicated after hardly even a week had passed.

With that in mind, she slowly decided that he was worth trusting, that she could allow herself to put herself in his hands, to risk everything.  He would be capable of destroying or mending her; the choice was his entirely.  Cassie had been so closed off because she had not wanted to be broken again, because trust came with such a high risk of betrayal.  But that was what made bonds so strong, especially when that trust withstood extreme tests under pressure.  If Jasper could really save her then it was all worth it, and she would regret not trusting him earlier.

Jasper looked at her and smiled. His warm smile would hopefully put her at ease. Nodding his head slowly. Once he noticed her boss give, Cassie the nodded that permitted her to be released. Jasper smiled at her."Come this way." He told her. He would exit the cafe and made his way on foot to the Dog place, by foot. Hoping she would follow. If/Once she did he would speak."Cassie, I want you to know. That once you get through this. Believe me you will. I will do everything within my rights and power to fix you. You don't have to repay me in anyway. I am doing this. Well, because I have a kind heart after all." He informed her calmly. He did have a kind heart. That and he had some sort of thing for Cassie. However that wasn't the point.

He would help her regardless if he did not have a thing for her. It was in Jasper's nature to help people out. Jasper was a very good man, kind person, and had a very caring heart. He shook his head slowly again. So once Cassie told Jasper what it was that was so upsetting and behavior altering. Jasper would be there with her to help her. Jasper however feared that it would not be worst then he thought he had in his thoughts. If it was worse then he thought. Then he would need to be there for Cassie even more. She needed all the caring, kindness, loving, listening, hugging, advice given, and lectures that Jasper can give out to her.

He looked to Cassie's side."I've been wondering, Cassie? Have you ever had people that cared for you? Aside from parents? Or do you are you normally without friends in terms of people that truly care. Cassie, I am not trying to be mean or a jerk. Friends can be back stabbing so. I also understand why you didn't want to talk to me at first or hear me out, to a stranger no else." That could be true too. However, Jasper wasn't like the others."Unlike, the rest of those people. Cassie, you will always have me to vent to if you ever have the need. We nearing the Place for the doors. You'll see what I mean." He told her calmly. Jasper was gonna help her no matter what.

Cassie felt more relaxed than she had been before, now knowing that Jasper would take care of her.  She calmly followed him, instinctively clinging onto his hand and not really registering the connotations of her actions.  Even when he spoke she did not realize that she was holding his hand, instead she listened to his words.  He came off as a bit arrogant, but his overall message was nice to hear.  She smiled, not having the words to reply, so she nodded.  It was relieving to know that she was not obligated to give him anything in return, especially since she barely had anything to give in the first place.  He really was a nice guy.

And she did not necessarily deserve the extent of his kindness.  Sure, she needed fixing, but the lengths he went to for her were too extreme and she did not believe her self-worth was enough for them.  If he truly wanted to fix her, he would have to make her know that she was worth it.  In turn, her confidence had plummeted since that night, apart from her furious moments in which she unleashed her anger.  Cassie had yelled at him, pushed him away, and weighed him down, but he stayed.  All she had done was try to hurt him, but he had recognized that as a result of her brokenness.

His next words were a bit of a surprise, as was the answer she realized was the truth.  Her parents had been the only ones she had really spoken with about her emotions, and she had not seen them since she had quit college.  She wondered if they would even talk to her anymore.  Did she truly have no close friends she trusted her feelings with? "I guess... I really only have casual acquaintances." It was a start, one that had the potential of leading to the entire admittance of her isolation.  Had she done that to herself, or did everyone think that she was fine on her own?  Luckily, Jasper had seen past the facade.

Jasper looked at her as they left. He then felt her hands around his. This was certainly odd. Jasper did not expect her to hold her hand. He did not want to move away. Because it felt good. It felt good hold her hand. Was she aware of what she was doing? If so why was she doing this? He didn't care. Or bother to question it. At the moment all he cared taken that little moment that wasn't taken away from him, with her. Once they've arrived. He made his way inside. hoping she would follow.

"Hey, Liz. Is Rafy still wounded." He Asked Liz.


Liz looked into his eyes and noticed the woman."You make an awful great couple." Jasper blushed. Replied."We are just friends. It's all. Please Liz, don't get the wrong Idea." Liz giggled."I'm sure you say that to all your friends." He nudged him against the arm. She was another good friend of Jasper's that he managed to help out.

Liza shook her head."Oh just you wait right here. I'll bring the healed Pup to you. I'm just messing with you, Jaspy." She giggled, and laughed. And made her way towards the back door, to get Rafy.

Jasper shook he's head."Apologizes. She's a friend. She's a tease, funny at times, and likes to joke about me or import funny perverse jokes on me that are completely uncalled for and unnecessarily. But she's a good person all within that cheesy outlook." Jasper went on.

He looked at what she said earlier."No anymore." he told her. He gave her a reply."I think you have gained a friend already. You just haven't realized it." he told her.

Liz brought in Rafy. Jasper looked at Rafy, and smiled."Oh are you boy. Oh who's a good boy. Who's getting his leg all nursed up. Yes you are yes you are Rafy." He scratched him under the Ears as Rafy barked. He pointed at his leg."I found Rafy and nursed him back to help to a certain degree. Before my father had told me to throw him outside. Me being me. I could not just throw him out. He was a life. So I went to Liz, and she agreed to help. My point in this. I-' He shook his head when Liz cut him off.

"His points in this. Is their people in this world that care. You'll be an idiot. If you that opportunity darling." She winked at, Cassie. She took Rafy."Be you seeing you Rafy, and Liz." He said and made his way outside.

"That woman. I swear sometimes. My point was." He paused."There people that will help you. Good people. Willing to without wanting anything in return. Not everyone is selfish. I certainly am not. Cassie." He smiled at her as he looked into her eyes."Are you will too open up finally?" He asked her. As he then made his way towards he's car. He was gonna drive her to the part like he promised her.

Cassie had very little idea where they were headed, but she wanted to trust Jasper, so she simply followed him to the building and through the door, recognizing it was the veterinarian clinic.  It was only when Liz commented about them being a couple that she noticed her grip on Jasper's hand.  She almost wanted to hold onto him forever, but casually she released his hand, hoping she had not held on too tightly.  Perhaps he had not even noticed it.  A blush became very visible on her cheeks at the same moment, the color too noticeable to be hidden from anyone even with her hair, so the best she could do was avoid eye contact out of embarrassment.  Jasper's denial, while it was the truth, was not entirely what Cassie wanted to hear, as she realized in that instant.  What was up with her feelings recently?

She wondered what the puppy--Rafy?--was like, if it was a boy, how old he was, how he had been recovering and if he was alright now.  She could not recall the last time she had been very close to a dog, but she had heard stories of the dogs her grandfather owned when her mother was young.  It was just a thought, but maybe getting a pet would be nice.  If Rafy was up for adoption, as it seemed to be the case, perhaps he was a possible choice?  It would certainly bring her closer to Jasper, and she could imagine him coming over to visit the puppy, to watch it grow.

Cassie shook the thoughts from her head, realizing that Jasper was talking to her.  Since she had not heard the entirety of his words, she assumed that he was talking about Liz, so she simply nodded, then listened again.  Was he saying that he was her friend?  She supposed that it would not be as bad as she had previously thought, in fact it would probably be very enjoyable.  He would be available to talk to when she needed someone, and she could let him talk to her once she was stable enough to handle it.  They could support each other, because was that not what friends were for?

Soon enough Liz had returned with Rafy, and Cassie watched Jasper pet him.  Seeing him enjoy himself made her happy, and she smiled contentedly.  He had saved Rafy's life, even against his father's will.  The scene was so calm, so peaceful, she could hardly believe it was actually happening.  But there was still a moral to the story, one that Jasper was explaining.  Again he said how she should accept help, and for once, she believed him.

As they left the building she partially regretted leaving Rafy, but perhaps she would return for him if he occupied her mind further.  Jasper's gaze was mesmerizing, yet doubts sprang up in her mind. "Just don't... please don't judge me," she pleaded, voicing her fear.  What would he think of her once he knew what she had done?

Jasper was thinking of things to say towards her but at the moment he could not he noticed her grip earlier. When she gripped it. It was stronger then most. He had a thought on his mind. But dismissed it almost Intermediately. He would however return to it of course. He shook his head and sighed calmly. The idea was a bit un real. He didn't know why it was to think Cassie was a metahuman.. Urg, he shook his head again. His eyes looking at her as he did. He took hold of her hand as he noticed her speak."Didn't I tell you already, Cassie. I'm here to help you. Not judge you. So would you tell me already." He told her.

He had no idea why she thought that he would judge her. He made it clear that he would not because she was a friend to him. That and because he wanted something more to happen out of this. He shook his head and sighed. He held her hand close and tightly as he begun to speak out. "Cassie. I want you to know I will always be there for you. For better and for worse." He said those final words as he did he then released his hands from her.

He had no idea at the current what emotions she was feeling regarding his gentle touch. Hoping she would not take it to harshly. He cared for her. He truly did. She was so amazing and yet so broken at the same time. Jasper was fixed on fixing her. He was sure of it. He was sure of fixing what ever demons that were inside of her. He would make sure she would be perfect by the time he was finished fixing her. Perfect and flawless like he first found her.

The amazing blue hair that was nice. Red wasn't a fun color sure it looked nice but it also represented a lot of things. Blood, Love, Fighting, Murder, along with black. Blue on the other hand was very gentle and interesting, Red was really over done to be honest.

He really hoped she would understand the Rafy part and how he described it would be good enough for her. For her understanding of course. Whatever was bothering her he was sure that he can cure it. Cure the poison that changed her so quickly.

Jasper took a deep sigh and shook his head. Those demons she had must be cured. He waited for a reply from her.

As Jasper's hand once again held hers, Cassie already felt safer, but she made sure not to grip him too hard.  If she were to do that then it would reveal a part of her that even she was not completely certain of, opening countless discussions that she was in no way ready for.  That subject was best avoided, even with him, especially since she did not have all the answers.  His words were immensely comforting, and helped her work up the courage to speak.  If he was going to stick around for as long as he promised to, he deserved to know what had happened.

Collecting her thoughts, Cassie readied herself to start explaining, slightly disappointed when his hands dropped hers.  Was that because of, well, in other words, did she like him in that way?  And if she did, was it because of how he wanted to help her through her problems even though he gained nothing?  Maybe, after it all was through, she had a chance with him.  There was always the fear of him rejecting her, but was he not afraid of losing her as well?  It was common sense to fear loss, even irrationally such as in this case.

But after all was said and done, Cassie still needed to tell him. "Um," she swallowed, finding her mouth dry because of anxiety, "about a week ago, I think, I was... at a bar, and--and there was--there was--" Already she came to a difficult spot: the first mention of that man whom she could not bear to name, or even think about.  Still, she had to continue.  Another swallow, her hands nervously fingering the bottom of her shirt, and her eyes glancing halfway between the ground and Jasper.  She took in a deep breath, "There was... a man, and he," she hesitated, knowing that there was no going back after that point. "He... I don't really know, but somehow he got me--he got me dancing... with him."

Cassie felt a pressure in her cheeks and attempted to hide the visible embarrassment behind her hair. "He took me to--to his apartment, and we," her voice quieted to barely above a whisper, "he took me to bed.  The worst part is, I don't remember... resisting." Finally she met his eyes as tears fell from her own. "Jasper I don't know why I did it, I just--" A sob interrupted her words, and at that point there was no hope of her continuing as her crying would not allow her to.  Out of desperation she fell into his chest and wrapped her arms around him, trying to feel safe, though with her sobbing and inability to concentrate, she might have hugged him a bit harder than she meant to.

Jasper shook his head. Jasper needed to know he wanted to know. He wanted to have the ability to help her. In anyway possible. Jasper was so determination that whatever she told him would not stop him from helping her. Cassandra was amazing. He was wondering if she felt something between them. It was strange, he doubted she did. But he still hoped. Though he was a complete stranger that have met her a week ago. Yet he was here helping her because her mood had instantly changed. So whatever happened must of been very bad. There would not be nothing that would stop him. He was sure of it. He wanted to set a very close bond with Jasper. A bond that would be so close that it would be unbroken, full of trust, and loyalty.

She finally decided to speak. However when she spoke she was hesitate in her speech. So whatever she was about to say. She really did not want to say it. "Yes, yes, you were at a bar then what happened." He listened and spoke afterwards. Different scenarios ran through his head. At what might have happened. When she finally finished speaking. His eyes widen. She didn't resist when she was taken to bed.. Danced. Envy and jealous hit Jasper like a hard rock against his head. He shook his head. He promised he wasn't going to judge. He intended to keep that promise. So it seemed whatever did this to her was not human or she was drugged. He ruled out drugs. Because it was normal behavior. He had to hurry up and make his Organic Life Form. TO stop this madness. Along with his army of robots.

He was about to head her when she went at his chest and around her hands him. Jasper hugged her tightly. Though when he did, he felt that strength he felt in her the hand. He held her there for a good three minutes before gently releasing her and pressing his lips against her forehead kissing it lightly. Before pulling back

"Well, Cassie. I believe we need to discuss how you want to get rid of the problem. It's not going to leave your memory. Why? Such things don't run from your mind. Unless you shut it off. However my suggestion. It may seem harsh. Don't shut it off. Evolve from him. Overcome it. When you do stick in the rear. Tell it I'm better then that. Did you by chance get the man's name? I'll investigate further myself. But not right now. I will be spending every day with you. If you allow me to. I will study with you. Watch you, talk to you, and discuss things with you. About the problem at hand." He said bringing her close him again and hanging her tightly."Never lose yourself. Or who you are. Over what something that tragic happened. It's a typical error that we humans make." he said calmly.

Throughout the entire explanation, Cassie was terrified of what Jasper would think.  What if he thought that she was throwing herself around?  What if he didn't believe her?  What if he thought that she was making a big deal out of nothing?  What if... he simply left?  She was sure that she would break if he abandon her, but she thought of Rafy and knew that he would never do that.  She was safe, even when she doubted him, and he would never leave her, especially now that she had told him everything.

As she cried into his shirt, one of the only things she could concentrate on was how she was getting it wet.  After some amount of time she slowly collected herself, gradually shifting away from Jasper's chest and towards standing on her own.  The moment he kissed her forehead she froze, wondering what that meant and if she was prepared for anything like it.  No one had done anything of that nature for about a week, and before then it had been extremely rare, so she was clueless and embarrassed.  Was it supposed to mean anything or was it just on impulse?  Was she even ready for anything beyond hugging?  Did he expect anything from her in return?

Lost in thought, she barely realized that he was talking until he got the point of overcoming the problem.  He wanted to know the man's name?  Cassie had gotten it from a secondary source, the woman who had talked with her before.  The fact that she had failed to get the man's name for herself made her wonder more what had pushed her to do what she had done. "It's... Alex Blackwood, I think.  I'm not really sure..." Before she even realized it he pulled her into another hug, once which she could not deny enjoying, so she closed her eyes and listened to his words and heartbeat.  It was easy to lose concentration, and soon enough she was being less gentle than she meant to be.  It seemed that she had made that mistake many times before but had never realized it.

Jasper looked at her. He understand what happened. However what he did not understand. How it was caused. He cared for her and loved her. Maybe he was just caring guy. He did not want anything from her in return. All he wanted from her is for her to get better and understand that he will always be there for her. At any given time all she had to do was call his number once he gives it to her and he would be at her door step. Trying to calm things, talk to her, explain to her, figure things out with her, have her vent to him, etc. He would listen hug her and give her advice that she needed to deal with things that bothered her.

He simply sighed and shook his head. What a shame it would be if he just left her there. What a shame would it be if he broke his promises. Having heard what he just heard. Most guys would have ran, called her a name, or made fun of her. Jasper however would never make fun of Cassandra. Cassandra was just to amazing for any man to treat her the way she was treated that caused her to act this way. His now wet shirt as he took it with his right hand and sighed."Oh, Cassie. You wet my shirt with your tears." He went in for another hug."If you want to cry more. Let it out. Let those tears flow out. As you release those feeling of in build..." He was gonna finish, but Jasper was stamped at the word."Odd, I've said the sentence incorrectly or forgot the word that would best suit this." He said softly in a puzzled tone.

He smiled at her and then released her from his hug. "Alex Blackwood, eh? I've never heard of him. If you want me to ask you." He said calmly. He shook his head and simply sighed. "Best thing right now is forget about that idiot. And move on, Cassie. I would do what you do best. Working, Drawing, and Music. Not to mention also of course talk to me." He told her honestly. She needed a social Life and Jasper would provide her with one. "Don't feel bad about what happened? Perhaps you had no control of what you were doing. Just cast that idiot aside." He offered. For advice. Hoping his skillful mouth would put Cassandra at ease, and move her away from those thoughts.

Perhaps it wasn't the best choice of friends but it was all he had at the moment."In the mean time I will ask Father for Help. In tracking the man." he told her." He must be brought down and justice must be served." he told her.

Thinking back, through all of her experiences, Cassie could not recall a time when someone had needed to care for her like Jasper was now, which made it all the more clear that he would do everything in his power to help her recover.  It was kind of odd, considering they had actually only met a few weeks ago, but it was still nice and very enjoyable.  Even with her family she had failed to completely open up, yet it seemed that around Jasper she felt secure enough to say what was bothering her while feeling that it was valid.  The very fact that he stuck around was incredibly relieving, as was his platonic affection.  She could only imagine what else he would offer her to assist in her recovery, though if he went a bit too far then she would let him know.  Like everyone else she had limits put into place by common sense.

Cassie knew for certain that Jasper was someone she could trust, proven by his willingness to listen and the fact that he had stuck around; he really was a nice guy, almost suspiciously nice, but she chose to ignore that.  He wasn't being too clingy for the time, though if he became too persistent then she would have to deal with that.  As he commented on his shirt, she hastily wiped at her cheeks. "Oh, sorry; it'll dry though, right?" She offered sheepishly, embarrassed even though it was something so trivial.  At his slip up she couldn't help but giggle, her first genuine laugh in some time. "Feelings built up inside?  If I let go it'll be alright?" She didn't quite know for certain what was trying to say, but she could at least guess.  Who knows, perhaps she was close.

Cassie listened to his words, wondering if they meant that he would stick around for the rest of the process.  At least he had gotten her on the right track, and even if he did leave then she would recover somewhat.  Part of her did not exactly want Jasper to go to extreme lengths to deal with it, but as she remembered yet again what that man had done she realized that he really had it coming.  He deserved to have something hurt him, especially if Cassie was not the only victim.  With that thought through, she nodded slightly, glancing down because she was not entirely sure where her desires would lead.

Jasper smiled at her. She was almost to cute. Few weeks back they were talking, he met her and she was upset. Over something that man did. He now knew what happened. Jasper would do everything within the Law. To bring this man down. With his father's resources of course. If father refused to help which he most likely would. Because His father would require a reason. And if he informed his father of Cassie. He would laugh in his face, and call the girl weak. And cut his connection with Jasper and Cassie. That would be problematic. Which would prevent the healing process. He held her close. Confronting the girl. He understand what she felt. No female should be able to go through what Cassie had gone through, it was disgusting, degrading, and uncalled for.

He looked at her and shook his head. "Nonsense. No need for that. Shirts can be replaced. People cannot. Remember that. Good friends are keepers, bad friends make you cry. You." He smiled let go of her, and looked into her eyes."Don't cry. What he did was wrong. You are stronger then that. I know you are, Cassandra." He said and hugged her again before release her. "Would you like some company?" It wasn't that he was attempting to pull moves on her. Is was the fact that she needed to make sure that she was well. And had the right head set for work. And deal with life. He smiled at her at what she said.

"Mind Reader?" He chuckled. That was funny. Wait what was she gigglig about."Hey, what's so funny." he placed his hand on the back of his head, scratching it. After I help her. I best stay my distance. And remain friends. I doubt she would want a relationship with me. I am only doing this because I enjoy helping people. I would do to her just to any person this street. Is help them. In Cassie's Case. I've grown quite fond of her. I want to watch her grow. He thought slowly towards himself. Cassie, Managed to Tease him with the Shirt comment, and laugh at his stamped words. She was getting there. Getting to feeling well. Jasper's methods were working. Even though he didn't even do anything to make Cassie feel. However, if this is what will help, Cassie. Then he will make her laugh and tease him. Just so Jasper can help with Cassandra's Recovery. "I've got a spot. Not to far from here. I'd like to show you. It's a Tree House my Sister and I made. She was always so Teasing. Gosh. Please don't ever meet her. She's a devil." He frowned. Oh God, if Sarah met Cassandra. The amount of teasing. Jasper will get."I will share a moment with you, That My sister and I shared. And we will create a moment together. That you shall remember for our friendship. After all what are friends for." He nodded.
