Thana was in Central City, purely as a civilian. Literally. She needed to do some project for school and had taken photographs in Central City for it, that was all done so she had basically a full free afternoon here. Thana was sitting in a coffee shop, sipping on her hot chocolate. Hoping Barry would come, she had texted him and just wanted to hang out with her friend as a normal person for once.

Checking her phone she smiled as she got a text from a friend, and kept sipping on her Hot Chocolate. And looked at the Photo's she had taken, they were beautiful. But she wanted more, and wasn't sure where to get them as she didn't know the city that well.

Barry had been slightly surprised Thana wanted to meet him. At this coffee shop no less. She probably got the name of it from Oliver or Felecity, and thus thought it fitting they should meet there. it was where Barry and Iris had always gone to chill.. where him and Joe, him and Felecity...him and Oliver, basically everyone came to chill. Other than Star Labs and the CCPD this was where he spent most of his time. The coffee was divine, it also helped fuel his Flash powers, giving him more energy, and even a boost of speed if luck was on their side.

So he walked in in his normal gear.. A t-shirt, a plaid shirt and jeans, and took a seat in front of Thana, nodding at a one of the staff, letting them know he wanted his regular. "Whats up Thana? Is something up?" He asked, concerned.

Thana smiled and looked at Barry, and shook her head. No nothing is up, nothings wrong. All is well. I just wanted to hang out with you." Thana said, "Oliver has been discharged, Casey is on care takers duty and I had to get an assignment done and chose Central City. I was actually hoping you could help. " she explained and showed her photo's she had taken to him.

" I am supposed to capture beauty in its purest form and finding something that makes me Smile. Central City is beautiful, I was hoping I could find something here. Want a coffee or something?"

Barry chuckled a little confussed and said "Hang out with me? Aren't their boys and girls your age you would rather hang out with? You know.. party.. get drunk. Whatever you youngsters do" He remembered when he had been a teenager.. most of it he had spent at home though, either studying for classes or trying to find the man in yellow, the thing that had killed his mom. When he was hanging out with people, it was normally with Iris, then he spent most of it watching her.

He nodded as he gained information on Oliver, and smiled as she mentioned a project about beauty. He said "Ahh, I remember Highschool. As for a place of beauty, there are many sites in Central... although I think there are more beautiful places elsewhere in the world. I would have to say the waterfront. On a nice day the water shimmers.. its quite nice." He smiled to himself as he remembered running across it.. then shivered as he remembered why. He then remembered the tsunami that never happened because he went back in time, and remembered kissing Iris and smiled again.

he then nodded towards the lady who was bringing his coffee "Thanks Carly" he said, knowing the girl by name. He then took a sip and smiled, perfect. "I'll pay for your hot chocolate. Unlike you.. I have a real job" He grinned

Thana raised an eyebrow at Barry, was he serious. "Your twenty, I'm eighteen your the closest person I know that I actually like." She said, frowning as he said party. What was with everyone and partying? She still didn't get it.

She rolled her eyes as he spoke, " I only went back to get Oliver and Casey off my back, apparently four scientific degrees don't count to parents of sorts if you don't have a High School Diploma to go with it." And rolled her eyes again, but listened as he said the waterfront, Okay the waterfront..Where is that?

Thana laughed slightly at what Barry said, she did have a job. " Excuse me you are speaking to Oliver Queens Personal Assistant and Science Advisor." She said making herself jokingly sound very very important. "Besides, I have more money then I know what to do with. That's what happens when your Dad dies and has giant companies to rival Olivers."

Barry acted offended and said "Hey! I'm twenty three! Thank you very much" There would be know way he was 20 and the forensic officer for the CCPD. To do that took like 4 years in university. Unless he had become some super genius like Sheldon Cooper he would have only been 2 years into Uni, and hardly working for the CCPD. He then sighed and said "Get to know some people in your school. Believe me it is worth it. Since you don't even live in Central, you would then have a friend you wouldn't have to travel far to see. Not that I wouldn't come running in a second if you needed me" He made the istake of not making any friends in highschool, and he greatly regretted it. Ever since he had become the Flash, his only childhood friend became distant and had her own boyfriend she spent all her time with. If he did not have Cisco and Caitlin, he would go mad.

Barry then pointed off in the direction of where the waterfront was. "Its a ways away though, I would call for a cab. I mean" He smirked and leaned in "Unless you brought a change of clothes" Barry could run her there in seconds, but at that speed and distance she was bound to loose her clothes, and frankly Barry did not want to see that again. Of course sometimes his own clothes burned as well, but it was all luck.

Barry considered what she said and said "As I said, I have a real job. I fight crime without ever having to jump into the line of fire. Without me the CCPD would be a bumbling band of baffoons. Although granted large muscled and heavily armed baffoons" He smirked and winked at her, chuckling softly at his joke, but then said "you're right, your loaded. You pay for my coffee.. and when you are at it buy me a car... and my own place... and maybe Central City..." He laughed, sipping his coffeee... damn that stuff was good.

Thana looked at Barry wait what he was 23, meh. Thana shrugged it off, "Sorry, you look younger and cuter." She said, and raised an eyebrow. "You do realise I am doing private edumucation right? Home schooled all the way, that way I can get Oliver's.....other work done." Thana said with a wink, meaning the other things they got up to. And looked at him, he probably would be there in a second.

When he leaned in she smiled, and pointed to her jacket, she had two shirts on plus her body armour. "Always ready now just in case. Just this time let me hold my breath first." She answered with a smile, and actually considered buying him a a car and a house. She could do that, Central City was a little bit expensive though. What car do you want? Thana asked, and looked at him seriously.

Barry laughed "Cuter? Don't all you teenager types have weird crushes on men who are like 60?" Barry did not name any because frankly they all escaped his mind.. all the ones he knew at least. He didn't know many famous people as his life had been spent in his own world of science and mystery. Iris had tried to keep him informed on all the gossip of the outside world, yet he had rarely paid any attention, his mind was elsewhere... or concentrating on the beauty of her voice.. the way her lips moved as she talked.. her smile.. her laugh. God he doubted he ever took in half that she said when they were younger. However as they grew up Barry made more of an effort to pay attention to what she said and help her with her problems.. even to the extent of helping her as a reporter by visiting her as the Flash.

Barry of course knew what her other work was, he didn't need the wink. He may be a hero/ vigilante now, but he was not thick headed. His Brain might not have been as fast as the rest of him now, but he did not need any time to catch up mentally.

When She mentioned leaving now Barry smirked and said  quietly "Certainly if I leave now, someone will notice I am as fast as the Flash, so how about we finish our drinks first, then leave like normal people? Once we are out of site I shall take you there." He promised. Being careless like that was not how Barry rolled, he tried to never use his super speed unless he was in his suit.. of course there were exceptions.. like when the Reverse Flash showed his face somewhere.. or when Caitlin was puking or something. So basically only in emergencies.

However, when she asked what he wanted, and was serious too, Barry chuckled and rolled his eyes and said "I can hardly let you do that" To buy a car for him was going too far. Unless it was like a birthday present for 50 years or something. As for the house bit he had been kidding, he enjoyed living with Joe. He had tried living in his own apartment before but never enjoyed it as much as living at home with Joe West, especially now since Iris was gone and he no longer felt like the award third wheel in the family

Thana raised an eyebrow, "Not all teenagers thank you very much." She answered. She wasn't the type to go for men, especially sixty year old men. Just wasn't her. She knew she didn't need to wink but with Barry, well she just acted normal around him. He loved science, she loved science. Thana was grateful he wasn't being reckless and agreed, "I agree. This place has nice drinks." She told him and kept sipping hers.

It really was nice to be normal with someone that she didn't have to hide her secret with and it made her happy. But she looked at him, "And why not? Its just a car."

Barry chuckled softly and smirked his iconic smirk "Well maybe not all teenagers... but all those with taste" He teased her, continuing to both smirk and laugh. Maybe having a taste for older man was not a good thing.. but it depended on how old the men where. His age was acceptable.. anything older than 35 though was kind of gross.. It was like Barry having a crush on a 90 year old woman.. which the thought alone made him almost puke. No.. his heart belonged to Iris... or Caitlin.. he was still confused on that front.


He nodded "jitter's has always had good drinks.. It is one of the reasons Iris got a job here in the first place. I have to admit though, my job intrests were in a total different direction to her" He had always wanted to be what he was today.. a hero.. the Flash.


He shook his head " A car is still a car and it is expensive. I can't accept such an expensive gift.. plus.. I'm faster than any car" He winked at her.

Thana smirked at him. "Oh I only said males, I didn't say females Barry." She said, "I'm dating someone older then me so you know." Thana told him with a smirk, Nyssa was the same age as Ollie, which was thirty. That was okay, and she had no intention of telling Barry who she was dating. She had gotten enough hell from Oliver when he found out. Funny memory that was him walking in on them making out at his club and she smiled to herself at the memory of it.

Thana smiled as she heard Barry speak, "Uhuh I am sure you just love running so much you wanted that to be your career." She said with a knowing smirk, and listened to his next part. "You may be faster then any car but the cars are much much sexier sweetie." Thana said, "I mean, at least you always know what size stick shift you are going to get and they ALWAYS purr exactly as you want them to."
